Southam Patios

Outdoor spaces that actually work

Bad drainage. Cracked flags. A garden that’s been ignored too long. We fix all of that, and we build from scratch too, laying patios and paths across Southam and the surrounding area that hold up properly season after season.

We work with porcelain, natural sandstone, and limestone. We put up fencing and walling. We lay new lawns, turf or artificial. Most jobs we price and start within a few weeks.

  • Porcelain tiled patio installations
  • Indian sandstone and limestone paving
  • Garden paths and paved areas
  • New boundary fencing and walling
  • Turfed and artificial grass lawns
  • Concrete flagstone laying

Porcelain versus natural sandstone

Porcelain is a manufactured tile, dense and frost-resistant, and it needs a full mortar bed with a flexible adhesive system underneath to handle ground movement. Natural sandstone is more porous, it beds differently, and the jointing matters more because water gets in if you cut corners. We use permeable jointing compound and resin-bound edging on both systems depending on what the drainage situation calls for. But the honest truth is both look the job done well, and it mostly comes down to budget and the look you’re after.

Local to Southam

We’ve worked on new builds and older properties across CV47, including gardens on the Hathaway Drive development where the ground conditions are heavy clay and most contractors underestimate the prep work. That’s where corners get cut. We don’t do that.

It’s not glamorous groundwork. It just has to be right.
