What we do

Materials we know well

Natural stone is where I spend most of my time. Liscannor flagstone is a material I come back to regularly, it has a character that manufactured slabs simply cannot replicate. The bedding mortar mix, the joint width, the sub-base compaction depth, all of it matters when you are working with stone that is going to be outside in an Essex winter.

We are straightforward about what suits your ground conditions and your budget. Not every job calls for the same approach.

Beyond the patio

A lot of our customers want the full garden sorted, not just a paved area. We handle that side of things too.

• Artificial grass laid and finished properly

Artificial grass in particular has come a long way. The drainage layers and fixing methods we use now give a result that holds up through heavy use and wet weather without lifting or pooling.

We come out, look at the space, and tell you what we think. No pressure, no inflated quotes designed to be haggled down. You get a straight answer.

The standard of finish matters to us as much as it does to you. That probably sounds like something everyone says, however in this trade the difference shows up quickly.
