What we do

Patio work. That is what we have built our reputation on here in Thaxted, Essex, and it is what we put most of our energy into every single day. We lay patios that hold up properly, look right for the space, and drain the way they should.

We work across a broad range of materials, and we know the strengths of each one. Indian sandstone handles the Essex climate well. Porcelain tile gives you a very clean, low-maintenance finish. I have also worked with Liscannor flagstone on a few jobs where the customer wanted genuine character underfoot, it has a quality that manufactured slabs simply cannot replicate.

New installations

Every new patio we put in starts with the groundwork done properly. A full mortar bed installation requires a compacted sub-base, correct falls for surface drainage, and joints finished to hold. Cut corners at that stage and the whole thing moves within two winters.

We do not just lay patios, however. Our work covers the wider garden too. New fencing, garden walling, turfed lawns, artificial grass, the sort of complete outdoor space that actually gets used.
