When it comes to groundworks, we do not cut corners on preparation. Foundations are laid properly, drainage is considered from the start, and we deal with whatever the ground throws at us. That includes damp. We carry out damp proofing regularly on older properties across TN9 and TN11, and where the situation calls for it, we put in a chemical damp proof anchor directly into the masonry. It is a straightforward fix when it is done right, and it saves a lot of grief later on.

With all the care we take at the technical end of a job, we still make sure the finish looks the part. Honestly, a wonky plaster line would keep me up at night.
