Tarvin Driveways
What we do
Across the CH3 corridor and into the villages around Tarvin, the ground conditions vary more than most people expect. We work across the full range of driveway and patio surfaces, with the installation knowledge to back it up on every job.
- Block paving, resin bound, tarmac and asphalt
- Pattern imprinted concrete driveways
- Gravel driveways and loose-stone finishes
- Patio slabs, porcelain, natural stone and concrete
- Driveway resurfacing, crack and pothole repairs
- Driveway sealing and surface restoration
- Kerbing, edging, walling and fencing
- Lawns, garden landscaping and boundary work
- Drainage, soakaways and ACO channel installation
Our approach
Good surface drainage is where most driveway problems actually start. On a recent job near Christleton, the customer had standing water pooling at the entrance every time it rained. Fitting a properly graded ACO drainage channel across the drive entrance sorted it cleanly, and the resin bound surface we laid over the base has held perfectly since.
We cover Tarvin and the surrounding areas including Bunbury, Kelsall and out towards the Beeston Castle side of the county (that stretch of Cheshire genuinely throws up some of the softer sub-base conditions we deal with most often). Getting the preparation right before a single block or tonne of tarmac goes down is what separates a surface that lasts from one that fails in two winters.
Repairs and maintenance
Not every job is a full installation. A lot of what we do is repairing driveways that have cracked, settled or lost their seal. Patching and resurfacing can extend a surface’s life significantly at a fraction of full replacement cost. However, there are cases where the base has failed completely and a repair is not the right call. We will tell you honestly which situation you are in.
