What kind of work do you take on?

We handle the full range of building work, from laying foundations to finishing render. A lot of our jobs start with someone wanting a single-storey extension or a loft conversion, and they end up trusting us with the structural alterations as well. That happens more than you’d think.

We cover work across Manley, out toward Frodsham, across to Delamere, and down through the Tarporley area. If you are in that part of Cheshire, we are probably already working somewhere near you.

What do we actually build?

• Extensions and new builds, from groundworks through to plastered walls
• Loft and garage conversions
• Brick porch builds at the front door, blockwork boundary walls
• Rendering, plastering, and general building maintenance

How do you approach a job?

We measure twice before a single block gets laid. Can good building really come from rushing? No, it cannot, and we have never pretended otherwise. We use solid materials, we keep the site tidy, and we are straight with customers about timescales.

One job that comes up regularly is a brick porch at the front door. It sounds modest, but it involves lintels, damp-proof course, matching the existing brickwork (easier said than done, honestly), and getting the drainage fall right. We take those details seriously.
