Who are we?

: Builders, based in Dunham on the Hill, Cheshire. That is where we work from, and that is where we know the ground.

We cover the area around Frodsham, Helsby, and Thornton-le-Moors. If you are in that belt of Cheshire, we know the soil conditions, the sandstone, the older properties that need careful handling.

We do the full range of building work, from the ground up or somewhere in the middle. Foundations, brickwork, extensions, loft conversions, garage conversions, plastering, rendering, structural alterations, general maintenance. Whatever the job needs.

What do we actually build?

We do not dress it up. Here is what we work on:

One job that comes up more than people expect: chimney breast removals inside the house. It is fiddly work, there is structural steel involved, and it wants doing properly. We have done plenty of them across these villages.

How do we work?

We quote straight, we show up when we say we will, and we do not leave a site looking like a disaster area at the end of the day. Can every builder say that? We use solid materials, we do not cut corners on foundations or fixings, and if something is not right we sort it.

A lot of our work comes through word of mouth in the local area. That tells you something, really.

Older properties around here sometimes throw up surprises once you open a wall. We have seen it all, and however the job shifts, we adapt and keep things moving without drama. Sure, it is grand, as long as you are upfront with the client from the start.
