A bit of background

A customer once asked me to quote a new garage and ended up with a full rear extension. That is just how building goes sometimes, one conversation leads to another, and before long you are looking at the whole picture together. Hythe Builders has been doing exactly that kind of work across this part of Kent for years.

We are based right here in Hythe, and the jobs we take on stretch from Sandgate through to Lympne and up toward Folkestone. (I will admit we are probably better known for turning up on time than for our paperwork, but we are working on that.) The point is, we know this area, we know the soil conditions, the older properties, the tricky groundwork that coastal land can throw at you.

How we work

We do not rush quotes and we do not oversell. If a job needs blockwork done properly from the foundation up, that is what we will tell you, and that is what we will do. However, if there is a simpler route that saves you money without cutting corners, we will say that too.

Most of our work comes through word of mouth from neighbours and previous customers. That matters to us more than anything else, because in a town like Hythe, people talk, and your reputation is everything.
