The materials we work with

We source good-quality stone and porcelain. We have used suppliers running out of the Braintree Depot Yard for local aggregate and sub-base material, so nothing has to travel far and we know exactly what we are getting.

Natural sandstone needs proper bedding. Porcelain is unforgiving if the sub-base is not right (and believe me, you can tell within a season if it has been rushed). We compact in layers, check levels as we go, and bed everything properly before a single tile or slab goes down.

Fencing, walling and lawn work

It is not all hard surfaces. We also put up timber fencing for privacy and boundary work. Garden walling, whether that is decorative or structural, is something we handle regularly. For lawns, we lay both roll-on turf and artificial grass depending on what suits the customer best.
