How We Work
One thing we pay close attention to is fall, because a gutter sitting level looks fine from the ground but pools water and fails early. We re-space brackets and set the correct gradient before any new run goes up.
On a lot of jobs (particularly older properties with timber fascia that’s gone soft behind the surface), we find the fascia needs attention before new guttering can be fixed securely. We replace rotten fascia and soffit boards as part of the same visit where we can.
We use a concealed gutter bracket fixing system on many installations, which gives a cleaner finish along the roofline and reduces the number of penetration points into the fascia board. It’s the kind of detail that actually matters long term, though you’d barely notice it to look at it.
How Long Does a Full Gutter Replacement Take?
On a standard semi-detached house, a full replacement typically runs to a day’s work, sometimes a half-day if access is straightforward. Larger detached properties or jobs with fascia replacement alongside will run to two days. We’ll give you a clear timeline when we quote.
We cover Portrane, County Dublin and surrounding areas. A lot of the work we pick up comes from word of mouth around the area, the same way Fingal Ravens GAA relies on people showing up for each other, and we’d rather earn a call back than just take a job and move on.

The concealed bracket is a small thing, but it’s the kind of small thing that separates a tidy job from a lasting one.
