Artane Patios

Been doing patios around here for twelve years now.

We cover everything from basic concrete slabs through to proper natural stone jobs. The coastal location means we see plenty of salt exposure damage on older work, so we know what lasts and what doesn’t when the sea spray gets at it.

Our bread and butter work includes:

Most of our jobs are around the northside, but we’ll travel for the right project. We see everything from small back gardens to bigger commercial spaces.

The thing about patio work is the prep. Half the cowboys out there skip the foundation work and wonder why everything shifts after the first winter. We dig proper, lay proper hardcore, and compact it right. Takes longer but it stays put.

Natural stone’s always popular but it needs sealing, especially near the coast. Block paving’s hardy but the pointing goes if you don’t maintain it. Porcelain’s getting more common now, good stuff but you need to know how to cut it without chipping.

For lawns, we do both turf and artificial. Turf’s cheaper upfront but needs work. Artificial costs more but it’s done once it’s down. Depends what you want.

Fencing we do is mostly timber panels and posts. Simple stuff but it has to be level and the posts need proper concrete footings or they’ll lean inside six months.

Garden walls we build in block or brick depending on the look you’re after. Nothing fancy but solid work that stays straight.
