Patios Oldtown

Patios Oldtown

Irish Weather Demands Proper Ground Work

Irish summers lie. You get three good weeks and suddenly everyone wants a patio. We understand that, because we have been laying patios and paving around Oldtown long enough to know that the real test comes in November, not July. Irish rainfall is constant and falls set correctly make the difference between a patio that drains cleanly and one that pools water against your back door by Christmas.

That is what we focus on first. The ground beneath your feet matters more than anything sitting on top of it.

What We Lay and How We Work

We work across a solid range of surfacing materials, and we are straight with customers about which suits their garden and their budget.

  • Indian sandstone, which handles the Irish climate well and ages honestly
  • Porcelain paving, low maintenance and holds its colour year on year
  • Limestone patio installations for a cleaner, more formal finish
  • Granite slabbing where durability is the priority
  • Garden paving for paths, side entrances, utility areas

Beyond the surface itself, we also do lawn turfing, wooden fencing and bricklaying. Good patios.

We do renovation work too, not just new builds. Older gardens around Oldtown often have subsidence, broken kerb edges or drainage that was never thought through properly. We lift, re-level and relay where needed.

Who We Work For

Homeowners, mostly. We have done work near Naomh Mearnog GAA club, which gives you a sense of the area we cover. (We are not the cheapest quote you will get, and we are fine with that.) We take on a manageable number of jobs at a time so the work gets proper attention rather than being rushed through.

Materials are sourced to last. The groundwork is done the way it should be done, which is not always the fastest way.
