How it started, more or less

A neighbour knocked one evening asking about her back garden.

That was years ago now, and somehow we never stopped. We cover Blackrock and the surrounding areas, doing the kind of outdoor work that actually lasts through an Irish winter, which (if you’ve watched a sandstone path shift after a hard frost) you’ll know matters more than it sounds.

A bit about how we work

One thing I always suggest to people is low-voltage lighting integrated into the steps, it transforms how you use the garden once the evenings get darker and it’s not as complicated to fit as most people assume.

We pay close attention to drainage, especially on the older gardens around this end of the coast, where the ground can be uneven and water pools if the fall isn’t right. Getting that foundation work done properly is honestly most of the job (I won’t pretend the prep is glamorous, but skipping it is how patios fail inside two years).

Our patch

We’re based right here in Blackrock, so we know the neighbourhood well. We’ve laid patios within a short walk of Blackrock Market, and we know the ground conditions, the tight rear gardens, the frost patterns. That local knowledge makes a difference on every job we price.
