Materials and methods

We work with rigid board, mineral wool, blown fibre, EPS bead, and spray foam depending on what the job calls for. Not every home is the same. A solid-walled house near Kilkenny City needs a different approach to a cavity-walled semi in Callan or a draughty farmhouse out past Thomastown. We assess the building first and then we get on with it.

And damp is something we take seriously too. A lot of the condensation and mould issues we see are down to poor insulation and no air sealing. That’s fixable.

SEAI grants

We help customers through the SEAI grant process. It takes the sting out of the cost and we handle the paperwork. Improving your BER rating is part of the job as far as we’re concerned, it’s not an afterthought. Most jobs we complete move the rating on noticeably, which matters if you’re thinking about selling.
