Adderbury Patios
Adderbury Patios
We lay patios. That is what we do.
What We Work With
Based in Adderbury, we have been laying patio surfaces and finishing gardens for homeowners across this part of Oxfordshire and into Warwickshire for years. We know these gardens. We know the ground conditions, the clay-heavy soils, the drainage challenges that come with them.
- Porcelain tiled patios
- Indian sandstone and limestone slabbing
- Concrete flagstone installations
- Garden paths and paved areas
- New walling and timber fencing
- Turfed lawns and artificial grass
How We Work
Right, the surface is only part of it. The sub-base preparation is where a patio stands or falls. We excavate properly, compact the hardcore, and get the falls right before a single slab goes down. A full mortar bed with a semi-dry sand and cement mix, finished at the correct depth and gradient, is what separates a patio that lasts from one that shifts and floods within two winters.
We always apply a sealant penetrating impregnator coat after laying. It is a step a lot of contractors skip. It keeps porcelain and natural stone looking sharp and makes long-term maintenance considerably easier.
Materials and Finish
Porcelain is popular right now and we understand why. It is tough, frost-resistant, and low maintenance. However, sandstone and limestone still have a warmth to them that suits a lot of Adderbury gardens. We work with both and we will tell you honestly which suits your space and your budget.
So whether you are near Banbury, out towards Bloxham, or closer to the Warwickshire border by Edgbaston’s cricketing neighbours at Warwick Racecourse end of the county, we cover it.
